That means that the rate of failure for the strikers alone is (obviously) something much less than 0.25%.Technically, you are not decreasing caliber, as both 9mm and .380 use the same diameter bullet. You are decreasing overall cartridge length, which equates to less velocity at the muzzle and less energy, as well as less recoil. I suggest you watch the videos that are available for the non-safety version and you will see there isn't any difference in the procedure. The P365 magazines, when new, are known to be difficult to fully load. In time they will break-in and get easier to load. I typically will only load 10 rounds in 12 round magazine for the first few range sessions. Before you know it inserting round 11, then 12 will not be an issue. However the longer frame on the P365 will make for a better shooter. Even with the 12-round extended mag in a std P365 I find I can handle and shoot the P365X better. Its a very simple swop. You dont need to change any springs or barrels just drop it into the XL grip module. There are many videos on youtube on how to change the module. I swoped from an original p365 to XL wilson combat grip module. Best decision i have made. I tried all the suggestions from Sig and the internet. The safety was down, I reset the recoil spring etc., but the slide would get stuck with about 1/2 " to go. I did not want to use a hammer so it went back to Sig. Came back reassembled..
